File detection

First off, this is a great program, i tried out quite a few, but this one is simply the best for me.

Could you also add detection for files with a dot in the S.E name?
like: Family Guy[1.04].avi is not detected, but after removing the dot it is.
Keep up the good work!

Just added it to the new 0.7

Just added it to the new 0.7 version, come back soon for the new version

Caps

Is it possible for the program to change certain chars to be CAPS?

Single chars or the whole

Single chars or the whole title or the show name? for the show name you can add an alias which will accomplish this, for episode titles the answer is no, but it'll be supported in the next version beside automatically doing the same for show names

ingeon

http://tvrenamer.com/system/files/TVRenamer_0.6.msi wants to force me to download .net3.5 (no thanks)

I am working on adding

I am working on adding alternative source for episode titles (thetvdb) but not a local source, what type of local source you've? if you don't to say it in public please use the contact us page.

Can't connect to database

Just tried using the program tonight and it couldn't connect to thetvdb.com. Not sure if it's just an intermittent problem or something permanently broken.

The program connects to

The program connects to tvrage.com, and I just tried it and it was working fine, maybe you need to check your firewall if it's blocking the application

Running on 64Bit Vista using the 64bit exe - works great!

It might be nice if the Shows To Look Up dropdown could be edited manually if it's unable to parse the proper show. I did manage to figure out how to rename in the left pane though which allowed it to look up things fine. Thanks for this excellent utility!

Bug

if I want to change or delete an alias i just get an sqlite error.

Thanks for reporting this

Thanks for reporting this bug, will be fixed soon

does not work on vista x64

When i run the program on my vista x64 pc, I get a "BadImageFormatException" error.
I can run it without any problems on my windows xp x86 pc

I have .NET framework 3.5 sp1 installed. I tried to reinstall the framework, but this did not solved my problem.

thanks for the great program

Thank you for your interest

Thank you for your interest in the program, tvrenamer only requires .Net 2.0 Framework, no need for 3.5 but 64 bit OS is not supported by the current release, however a 64 bit version will be released later today.
Check back later for the 64bit version
