TVRenamer 0.7 Beta 2 for Linux (Mono) Released

Finally a working Linux (Mono based) is released, it requires mono runtime and winforms cil some Linux distros comes with Mono pre installed(like ubuntu) so you can skip following step

sudo apt-get install mono-runtime

to setup the winforms cli

sudo apt-get install libmono-winforms2.0-cil

Go ahead and download the linux version here

TVRenamer 0.7 Beta 2 was released changes from 0.7 Beta are

  • Fixed a bug caused detecting two episode files in single episode file.
  • Added experimental custom detection expressions for help please click here.
  • Minor UI Enhancements.

Finally after tremendous amount of work and a lot of help from testers a Beta version of TVRenamer is out and you can go ahead and download it from here

A new version of TVRenamer is currently under development, the new features are:

  • New episode titles source, TheTVDB.org
  • Support for selecting titles language (from TheTVDB)
  • Command Line support, now TVRenamer can be called from programs like µTorrent to rename, move and/or download subtitles for the downloaded episode
  • Support downloading subtitles automatically(from subscene.com or opensubtitiles.org
  • Support absolute episode numbers (for Animation Fans)
  • Undo Renaming

The final release of 0.6 TVRenamer: Changes since previous version:

  • Added for <S> and <E> formatting tags for naming styles
  • Added faster copy routine
  • Added ability to stop renaming while there are files being copied
  • TVRenamer is responsive while copying files
  • Minor changes & fixes
